Manage all technology needs for the Integrated Science & Technology department and co-oversee technology needs for the College of Science and its departments. In charge of the development and maintenance of websites, graphics, databases, automation scripts, and software applications in the College of Science and its departments as well as several research groups at Marshall University. Provide training for faculty, staff, and students to meet technology and educational needs. Design and instruct courses in GIS and computer information technology as needed. Assist faculty in the analysis, design, and development of instructional programs, materials, and delivery systems, as well as in utilizing computer technologies to enhance instruction. Other duties include system administration, computer lab management, computer software/hardware technical support, technology research and purchasing, and GIS project development, data management, and web delivery.

This included the creation and manipulation of vector files and AutoCad 14/2000 drawings integrated with CIR aerial photography and USGS topographical maps.
